Graphics and Printing

We are an in-house graphics and print center within MSU Radiology and extend our services to other units on campus and even to the general public. From small to large format, we can fulfill most print requests in-house. We also extend our graphic design services, time-permitting ($60 per hour) and are proficient with the MSU brand standards. Poster Printing Checklist

Email loosc(at)msu.edu with the following:

• Print-ready PDF file(s). Do not send PowerPoint files.  
• Desired print size (ensure your document is setup at the same size or the same proportions as the print size you are requesting)
• Paper choice (see Large Format Printing section below)
• Due date for picking your poster up from the Radiology Building (see Turnaround Time section below)
• MSU department account number (or indicate if you would rather pay with cash or check upon pickup)

Turnaround Times:

• Minimum of 2 full business days for simple print requests (i.e. paper posters, low volume prints on standard papers)
• Minimum of 4 full business days for fabric posters or waterproof/outdoor materials
• 1-2 weeks or more for more complex print requests (i.e. high volume, specialty papers) or design work

PLEASE NOTE: This is a one-person operation so you may receive an OOO auto-reply when services are unavailable.

Specify your desired paper choice:

• 8 mil Matte—economical option for paper posters; $5 per square foot (max 35" x 89")
• 10.4 mil Semi-Gloss—great for photos; $6 per square foot (max 43" x 89")
• Photo Tex^TM Wall Adhesive—repositionable and easy to apply, similar to Fathead®; $6 per square foot (max 41" x 89")

Single-sided copy or print pricing:

• 8.5” x 11”—45¢ for color or 10¢ for black & white on Regular 20# Copy Paper.
  Add 10¢ for Premium 28# Copy Paper or Thin Gloss (100# Text).
  Add 15¢ for Thick Matte (80# Cover) or Thick Gloss (80# Cover).

• 11“ x 17”—85¢ color or 15¢ for black & white on Regular 20# Copy Paper.
  Add 15¢ for Premium 28# Copy Paper or Thin Gloss (100# Text).
  Add 25¢ for Thick Matte (80# Cover) or Thick Gloss (80# Cover).

• 12” x 18”—$1.10 on Thin Gloss (100# Text).

Finishing services offered include but are not limited to stapling, hole punching, folding, saddle-stitched booklets, lamination (up to 11” x 17”), stack cutting, and shrink-wrapping.
