Kent Lovell

Kent joined the MSU Radiology team in January of 2024. As an MSU certified Research Administrator, he oversees the post-award coordination of research grants budget and compliance, and provides administrative support for faculty and researchers. Kent ensures projects meet funding guidelines and regulatory standards while fostering collaboration across department units.  

Prior to accounting, among other customer service jobs, Kent worked for a decade total in the print and design industry. He then made a career switch in 2014 and earned his double Associates in Accounting & Business because, “Art is subjective, and numbers don’t lie.” 

When not crunching numbers, he enjoys taking day trips and getting the Pure Michigan experience with his wife and poodle or relaxing at home with a good book or a puzzle.
