Ranji Samaraweera, MD
Ranji Samaraweera, MD, ABIM, ABR, is an assistant professor in the MSU Department of Radiology, serving the Colleges of Human and Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Samaraweera received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency and an internal medicine residency at University of Wisconsin Hospital. Dr. Samaraweera went on to complete a cardiovascular and interventional radiology fellowship as well as a combined neuroradiology and vascular intensive fellowship at the Boston VA Medical Center. He was previously the Head of the Neuroradiology Section at Boston VA Medical Center. His clinical interests include understanding, developing, and deploying new imaging technology. Dr. Samaraweera is a neuroradiologist for MSU Health Care at McLaren Greater Lansing Outpatient Imaging Center.
