Balasubramanya Kolar, MD

Balasubramanya Kolar, MD, MS, ABPMR, ABEM, is a Radiologist at MSU Health Care at McLaren Greater Lansing Outpatient Imaging Center. Dr. Kolar received their MBBS degree from Mysore University in India as well as a MD degree in radio diagnosis from MS University in India and a DM of neuroradiology from University-NIMHANS in Karnataka. They completed their radiology residency at Government Medical College in Baroda, India. Dr. Kolar went on to complete multiple fellowships at the University of Rochester in New York, including diagnostic neuroradiology, cross sectional and abdominal imaging, vascular and interventional radiology, and emergency radiology. They are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology as well as interventional radiology They are an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Michigan State. Their clinical interests include diagnostic and interventional radiology.
