Balasubramanya Kolar, MD, MS, ABPMR, ABEM, is an assistant professor in the MSU Department of Radiology, serving the Colleges of Human and Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kolar received his MBBS degree from Mysore University in India, an MD degree in radio diagnosis from MS University in India as well as a DM of neuroradiology from University-NIMHANS in Karnataka. He completed his radiology residency at Government Medical College in Baroda, India. Dr. Kolar went on to complete multiple fellowships at the University of Rochester in New York, including diagnostic neuroradiology, cross-sectional and abdominal imaging, vascular and interventional radiology, and emergency radiology.  He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology as well as interventional radiology.  His clinical interests include diagnostic and interventional radiology.  Dr. Kolar is a diagnostic radiologist for MSU Health Care at McLaren Greater Lansing Outpatient Imaging Center.
