Joseph Pernicone, DO, Ph.D.
Joseph R. Pernicone, DO, PhD, MS, is a Radiologist at MSU Health Care at McLaren Greater Lansing Outpatient Imaging Center Dr. Pernicone received their degrees from Michigan State University: their medical degree, a PhD in Physics, and two master of science degrees in math and physics. They completed their residencies in radiology and in nuclear medicine at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Pernicone went on to complete a computed tomography and ultrasound fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital as well as MRI fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic and the Pittsburgh Institute. They are board certified in diagnostic radiology as well as radiology with special competency in nuclear medicine. Dr. Pernicone is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology.
